OUR WORK
Effective behaviour change need great strategy and excellent execution.
We do both.

Public transport behaviour change strategy
Working across public and private sector stakeholders, internal staff and commissioners, public transport interest groups and customers we developed a comprehensive behaviour change strategy on behalf of Environment Canterbury.

Increase diversity in Fire and Emergency recruitment
In 2018, Janet developed and managed an integrated communications campaign aimed at increasing applications from women and ethnic minorities to join Fire and Emergency. It was a great success with overall applications up nearly 100%, of which 16% were female.

Ministry of Education
In 2017, for Ministry of Education we developed and implemented the largest piece of parental research ever undertaken. There were three strands; qualitative workshops, quantitative national survey and service design workshops.

Change Moment public transport pilot
In 2016 we developed a multi-strand pilot aimed at increasing public transport usage in Christchurch as the businesses relocated back into the CBD. The pilot delivered a 26% increase in public transport use and significantly changed public perception about public transport.

Air pollution
For a number of years we developed a multi-strand air pollution programme in Canterbury. Addressing pollution from residential woodburners we did extensive research, testing and evaluation resulting in a significant reduction in over-limit days.

Ag sector research
We were engaged to undertake research across the agricultural sector. We did qualitative research with industry groups, stakeholders and citizens building an understanding of the opportunities and barriers to changing behaviour around water pollution.

Digital platform
As part of the Change Moment pilot we build a bespoke digital platform support pilot development and evaluation. Individual accounts captured journey details and delivered personalised travel planning information.

Air Pollution Toolkit
Funded by MfE, and in partnership with Environment Canterbury we developed a behaviour change toolkit to help regional councils understand behaviour change principles and approaches to reducing air pollution. This included a rapid-prototype programme in two key areas to test the approach and concept.

Improving water quality
For Environment Canterbury we developed a behaviour change strategy aimed at improving water quality. This involved extensive quantitative and qualitative research with farmers, industry groups and citizens.

Stakeholder research
Stakeholders can have a major impact on the success or otherwise of projects and programmes. It is important that consultation and engagement with stakeholders is balanced and applicable for strategy development.
We have undertake stakeholder research, both qualitative and quantitative, across a number of sectors and issues. These include: electricity infrastructure, the hidden economy, public transport, water quality, sustainability, education, justice and youth issues.

Bio-security behaviour change
Funded by MfE, and in partnership with Environment Canterbury we developed a behaviour change toolkit to help regional councils understand behaviour change principles and approaches to reducing air pollution. This included a rapid-prototype programme in two key areas to test the approach and concept.

Behaviour change workshops
We developed a series of one and 1/2 day workshops covering the principles of behaviour change, research and developing a social media strategy for the public and non-profit sectors.
